Perk system (Strength)


Strength | Perception | Endurance | Charisma | Intelligence | Dexterity | Luck

Strength is an indicator of overall physical fitness. It is responsible for the amount of weight one can carry and for damage in close combat (hand-to-hand).

 

Perk level Requirements Description

Iron Fist - Power 1

01 Channel your chi to unleash devastating fury! Penetrating attacks deal 20% more damage to enemies.

02 Level 09 Devastating attacks now deal 40% more damage and have a chance to disarm your opponent.

03 Level 18 Devastating attacks now deal 40% more damage. Unarmed power attacks can damage your opponent's limbs.

04 Level 31 Devastating attacks now deal 80% more damage. Unarmed power attacks have an increased chance to damage your opponent's limbs.

05 Level 46 Devastating attacks now double their damage. Critical hits in VATS paralyze the enemy.


Big Leagues - Power 2

01 Level up for damage! 20% more damage with melee weapons.

02 Level 07 You deal 40% more damage with melee weapons and have a chance to disarm the enemy.

03 Level 15 You deal 60% more damage with melee weapons and have an increased chance to disarm an enemy.

04 Level 27 You deal 80% more damage with melee weapons and hit all targets in front of you.

05 Level 42 You now deal double damage with melee weapons and have a chance to critically hit your opponent, or deal a strong blow to the head.


Armorer - Strength 3

01 Protect yourself from danger in the Wasteland by unlocking the first level of armor modification.

02 Level 13 You gain the second level of armor modification.

03 Level 25 You gain the third level of armor modification.

04 Level 39 You gain level 4 armor modification.


Blacksmith - Power 4

01 Fire up the forge and unlock the first level of melee weapon modification.

02 Level 16 The second level of modification of melee weapons.

03 Level 29 The third level of modification of melee weapons.


Heavy Gunner - Strength 5

01 With practice and preparation, Big Guns deal 20 more damage.

02 Level 11 Large guns deal 40% more damage and have increased accuracy when fired from the hip.

03 Level 21 Large guns deal 60% more damage and have even greater accuracy.

04 Level 35 Big guns deal 80% more damage and have a chance to knock down your opponent.

05 Level 47 Big guns do double damage.


Strong Back - Strength 6

01 What are you, mountain deer? Carry weight increased by +25.

02 Level 10 Carry weight increased by +50.

03 Level 20 When overloaded, you can use Action Points to run.

04 Level 30 While overloaded, you can use the Pip-Boy to move around locations.


Steady Aim - Power 7

01 Stay on target! Hip-fire accuracy is increased when using a firearm.

02 Level 28 Hip fire accuracy has been increased for all weapons.


Basher - Power 8

01 Close to heart and personal! Weapon destruction deals 25% more damage.

02 Level 05 Weapon destruction now deals 50% more damage and has the potential to cripple your opponent.

03 Level 14 Weapon destruction now deals 75% more damage and has an increased chance to cripple your opponent.

04 Level 26 Weapon destruction now doubles damage and has an increased chance to cripple your opponent. It also has a chance to cause a critical hit.


Rooted - Power 9

01 You are part of the tree! While standing still, you gain +25 Defense, and your unarmed and melee attacks deal 25% more damage.

02 Level 22 While standing still, you gain +50 Defense and your unarmed and melee attacks deal 50% more damage.

03 Level 43 While standing still, you can automatically disarm an enemy using a melee weapon against you.


Pain Train - Power 10

01 Toot-toot! All aboard! While wearing Power Armor, sprinting deals damage and knocks back enemies. (Robots and large enemies are immune to knockback.)

02 Level 24 While wearing Power Armor, sprinting deals increased damage and increases enemy knockback. (Robots and large enemies are immune to knockback.)

03 Level 50 While wearing Power Armor, sprinting deals massive damage and knocks down enemies. Landing near enemies after jumping deals even more damage.
