Perk system (Charisma)

Charisma is the ability to charm and persuade others. It influences the success of dialogue and prices during exchanges.
Perk level Requirements Description
Cap Collector - Charisma 1
01 You've mastered the art of the deal! Buy and sell at the best prices.
02 Level 20 Buy and sell at even better prices.
03 Level 41 You can invest up to 500 caps to increase the store's purchasing power.
Black Widow / Lady Killer - Charisma 2
01 (F) Come to my living room... Men receive +5% damage in combat and are easier to persuade in dialogue.
(M) You're charming... and dangerous. Women receive +5% damage in combat and are easier to persuade in dialogue.
02 Level 07 <Your character's opposite sex> now receives +10% damage in combat and is even easier to persuade in dialogue. They are also easier to pacify with the Intimidation perk.
03 Level 22 <Your character's opposite sex> now receives +15% damage in combat and is much easier to persuade in dialogue. They are now even easier to appease with the Intimidation perk.
Lone Wanderer - Charisma 3
01 Who needs friends? When traveling alone, you take 15% less damage and increase your carry weight by 50.
02 Level 17 When traveling without a companion, you take 30% less damage and increase your carry weight by 100.
03 Level 40 When adventuring without a companion, you deal 25% more damage.
Attack Dog - Charisma 4
01 A trusted comrade can hold off an enemy, giving you a better chance of hitting them in VATS.
02 Level 09 When a dog holds an enemy, there is a chance that it will damage the limb it bites.
03 Level 25 When your dog holds an enemy, there is a chance that it will cause bleeding.
Animal Friend - Charisma 5
01 Befriend the beasts! Use your weapon to target any animal below your level for a chance to calm it.
02 Level 12 Once you have successfully calmed the animal, you can encourage it to attack.
03 Level 28 Once you have successfully calmed the animal, you can give it specific commands.
Local Leader - Charisma 6
01 As a diligent ruler, you can establish a connection between all workshops in settlements.
02 Level 14 You can build containers and workstations on sites with workshops.
Party Girl / Party Boy - Charisma 7
01 No one relaxes like you! There's no chance of becoming addicted to alcohol.
02 Level 15 The effects of alcohol are doubled.
03 Level 37 Your Luck increases by 3 when under the influence of alcohol.
Inspirational - Charisma 8
01 Because you are the leader, the companion deals more damage in battle and cannot harm you.
02 Level 19 The companion takes more damage in combat and is immune to friendly fire.
03 Level 43 The partner can carry more things.
Wasteland Whisperer - Charisma 9
01 You are the master of the Post-Core! Use your weapon to target any Wasteland creature below your level for a chance to pacify it.
02 Level 21 Once you have successfully calmed a Wasteland creature, you can goad it into attacking.
03 Level 49 Once you have successfully calmed a Wasteland creature, you can give it specific commands.
Intimidation - Charisma 10
01 It's time to show who's boss! Take aim at any human opponent below your level with your weapon and get a chance to pacify them.
02 Level 23 When you successfully calm someone down, you can encourage them to attack.
03 Level 50 Once you have successfully calmed someone down, you can give specific commands.
