Stalker: Call of Pripyat → Unknown Weapon
Captain Tarasov and I head to the hospital. We take our places inside the building and wait for three Monolith soldiers to enter the center of the courtyard. We quickly take them out and go search the bodies. At that moment, the remaining Monolith soldiers who had ambushed us begin to attack.
Our goal is to kill the Monolithist standing on the edge of the roof of the five-story building with a Gauss Cannon. After all the Fanatics are dead, we'll retrieve the secret weapon and return to Kowalski. However, the Gauss Cannon prototype is damaged, and we need to find a mechanic to fix it. We'll head to Kardan at Zaton. When we tell him about Product #62, he passes out, and we'll have to wait tediously for him to come to his senses.
During the conversation, we learn that Kardan used to work at the Jupiter Factory, specifically with this product. He needs documentation for repairs, so we get an old magnetic keycard and head to the Iron Forest anomaly. There's a coded door in the building nearby. This is where the keycard will come in handy.
Now we need to get out and return to Kardan in Skadovsk. We hand over the documents, wait for him to sort things out and repair the Gauss rifle. We get up, grab the weapons and documentation, and head to Lieutenant Colonel Kovalsky in Pripyat. The Recon Group and the Monolith await us after.
