Karma system | Fallout 3

Karma system

You can use the console command  player.getav karma  to find out your current karma value.

Populations react differently to you depending on your karma. For example, if a player with very good karma appears in Megaton , one unnamed Megaton Dweller will speak to the player daily and give them various gifts (ammunition, food, or medicine). A character with bad karma will have a slightly warmer welcome in Paradise Falls .

If a player's karma status becomes Good, they become hunted by Talon Mercenaries (even if their karma status reverts to Neutral or Evil). Conversely, if their karma status becomes Evil, the player becomes hunted by the Regulators, even if their karma later reverts to Neutral or Good. A player who was both Good and Evil may one day face a simultaneous attack by both Talon Mercenaries and the Regulators.
