STILL IN THE DARK
Talk to Elder McNamara. You'll have a task: eliminate an NCR ranger. He's in a bunker in the valley. You'll be given a collar that will prevent you from escaping. It explodes if you try to escape. The bunker you need is to the southeast. Go outside and head in that direction until you spot a bunker with the word "PEACE" written on it.
You probably won't see Dobson there. In that case, you'll need to wait for him behind the crate. He'll definitely show up before 10 PM. Once you've arrived, you'll need to convince Dobson to leave the area. Return to the elder and report your success. He'll remove your collar and ask to meet you in the command room.
Follow him and talk to him again when you get there. He'll ask you to find three missing groups of soldiers and retrieve their holographic recordings. The Fallout: New Vegas walkthrough continues.
Head for the exit. Along the way, Hardin, the leader of the paladins, will make you stop. He's interested in whether there's any mutual benefit for each other. He needs the notes you found. Head outside and head east to the marker. You'll find bodies in the radiation pit; grab the notes and laser rifles. Proceed through the northwest gate.
Use the Pip-Boy to teleport to Nellis Base and follow the ruined buildings to the south. Find the soldier's body and grab the recording. Then you need to get to REPCONN Headquarters. You'll find it west of Lake Mead and southeast of New Vegas. Enter the first floor through the east door. Ask the guidebot for a tour of the grounds. When you reach the last room, open the door on the right and climb the stairs to the console. You'll need to pick up the key there.
Fallout: New Vegas – game walkthrough. Head through the door on the right as you enter. Then turn left and go up to the second floor through the door. There, open the door on the left to find another key. Then, from the hall, go up the stairs. If your luck skill is less than 7, the security robot will trigger a countdown. You'll have 30 seconds to spare. The soldier's corpse will be lying next to the entrance to the third floor. Grab the recording and exit the building.
Follow Elder McNamara to Hidden Valley. You need to speak with him. Your next task is to find three Brotherhood scouts. Head to the southwest marker. Along the way, you'll encounter an assassin. Kill him yourself or wait for the NCR to help. Continue south until you reach the scout. Speak with the scout. He'll give you a report, which you need to deliver to McNamara. Then, head to Nipton. There, you'll need to kill Caesar's legionnaires who attack you. This will fail the "Cold, Cold Heart" quest.
As you continue through Fallout: New Vegas, head to the marker to the north. You'll find another scout. Get his report. Go to Novak, then northeast. Return to McNamara in the bunker. He asks you to speak with Elder Knight Lorenzo about the filtration system.
Follow the exit, carefully examining the floor along the way. When you spot a bare patch of floor, drop down there. Head north. There's a room with beds. Talk to Lorenzo. He asks you to find three shelters and the parts inside them. This will help repair the air purification system.
You'll find Vault 11 to the east of the bunker. The entrance is on the west side of the hill. Go through the first level, the clinic, and then turn left. Continue on, turning left repeatedly until you reach a door leading to the living quarters. Enter and search for the room marked "Admin."
Head right toward the controller's room, go down the stairs, and through the doors to the lower level. Before entering the controller's room, turn right, go forward to the Utility sign, and then turn right again. As you continue through Fallout: New Vegas, head to the room filled with water. You'll have to swim a bit. Swim to the first door on the right. Inside, you'll find a locker containing the Pressure Differential Regulator. You can now exit the vault.
Now head to Vault 22. The elevator here is broken. You need to fix it and go up to the living quarters. It's on the fourth level. Jump down and open the door marked "Quarters." Go through the first door on the left, and prepare for a fight. Once you've cleared everyone out, grab the Keycard from the bookshelf.
Then take the elevator to the third floor. Exit the elevator and head straight to the first door. There, use the terminal to open the door to the cave. Proceed through the tunnels to the wooden door. Open it and continue until you see some KERA cartridges in a cabinet in the corner. That's it.
Then head southeast to the eastern entrance of the South Vegas Ruins. Enter and continue south. You should find Vault 3. To open the door, activate the console on the right. During Fallout: New Vegas, you'll encounter a representative of the Fiend faction inside. She'll let you in if you tell her you're carrying drugs. This is only possible with a high-level Conversation skill.
Follow the corridors to the stairs on the right. Climb them. Then head left until you find the Motor-Runner leader. Talk to him; if you have any drugs, sell them. Then head left from the leader's room. Find a Reverse Pulse Cleaner in the closet. Take it and escape the shelter. You can return to the bunker to give the spare parts to Lorenzo. Report your progress to McNamara. In gratitude, he will give you the keys to the Brotherhood of Steel house, located northeast.
You must steal the Keycard from McNamara, Chief Scribe Taggart, and Chief Paladin Hardin. To do this, you must have either a Science skill of 80 or higher or Stealth Combat. In the room with Taggart, activate the self-destruct mechanism. To confirm the password, you must insert the stolen cards. You need to click the red keypad with your mouse and set the destruction sequence. To complete Fallout: New Vegas, all that remains is to escape the bunker and enjoy the spectacle. Now, off to New Vegas to make Mr. House happy.
THE CASINO ALWAYS WINS, PART SIX
You need to protect President Kibell from an assassination attempt. Use the Pip-Boy to travel to Boulder City if you haven't yet opened Hoover Dam. From Boulder City, head east. Find Grant there and speak with him about your mission. Then wait until the day is over to speak with the ranger again. He'll tell you about your plans for the day.
The fastest way to complete this quest is to follow the ranger to the lookout and inform Grant that you're ready. Wait for the helicopter to land, then head to the stairs at the corner. Wait there for the engineer to appear. To access all parts of the dam, you'll need to demonstrate your eloquence. 50 Speech points will help you get past the guard standing by the stairs.
Wait for the engineer to leave, then head to the helicopter. Look at it. You'll see a bomb. To disarm it, you need 50 points in Explosives or Repair. While playing Fallout: New Vegas, you can try pickpocketing the engineer and stealing the detonator. Once you've done that, return to Grant and tell him you found the bomb.
THE CASINO ALWAYS WINS, PART SEVEN
House currently wants you to install a Redistribution Chip in the El Dorado Electrical Substation Control Room. If you've opened the substation before, use your Pip-Boy to teleport there. If you haven't, head to Vault 11 and then head west from there. Once there, go inside and activate the terminal. NCR soldiers will arrive; deal with them. Then, eliminate the others outside the structure.
Go to the Strip and the North Gate. Emily Ortal will approach you and ask you to plant a bug in House's network.
THE MOON COMES OUT FROM BEHIND THE TOWER
The Fallout: New Vegas walkthrough continues. You need to reach the Lucky 38. There, find the stairs to the left of the casino. Climb them up to the VIP area. Activate the terminal behind the bar, return to Emily, and tell her you've succeeded.
Go see Mr. House and talk to him. Before you decide to side with him, you need to finish all the business here. You won't be able to return. Once you've finished, agree to lead the fight for Hoover Dam.
ALL OR NOTHING
You'll immediately be transported to Hoover Dam. Head down to the second tower and go inside. You're looking for the door marked "Hoover Dam Offices." Go straight ahead until you turn right. When you turn right, enter the second door on the left. Take the safe room key and head left to the control room. It's guarded by Brotherhood members.
Once you've defeated the guards, go in and activate the large computer. Then go left, keeping to the left at all times. When you reach the door, open it with the key you found. On the platform, you need to press the switch for the Eastern Power Plant. Then head back and enter the kitchen. Exit through the door that leads to the Tower. Then to Dubma, turn southeast, and follow it to the gates of the Legate camp. In a subsequent playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas, head east to the camp. Then northeast to find Legate Lanius. Kill him and leave.
At the camp's exit, you'll see an explosion. Then General Lee Oliver appears. He'll thank you. Tell the general you're with House. He's immediately surrounded by robots. He refuses your attempts to hand him the surrender papers. Well, kill him and his assistants. Receive Mr. House's thanks and listen to his explanation of your next steps.
The Fallout: New Vegas walkthrough is complete.
