Fallout: New Vegas Walkthrough (Part 3)

Fallout: New Vegas Walkthrough -> Fallout: New Vegas Walkthrough (Part 3)

CONTINUATION OF THE QUEST THEY WENT IN THAT DIRECTION

Follow the marker northeast toward Boulder City. If you follow the road, you'll be attacked by bandits. They're easy to deal with. So, you've reached the ruins of Boulder City. Radscorpions and their retinue live nearby. Not the most pleasant of adversaries.

The following situation will arise in the city: NCR forces have surrounded several Khans. You have two choices: execution or persuasion. If you choose persuasion, you'll need to enter the encirclement and speak with the Khan leader. If the conversation level is high enough, you'll convince the Khans to release the hostages. You'll also need to convince Lieutenant Monroe that no one wants bloodshed.

And when choosing a reprisal, you can hide around a corner and shoot at the Khans while they fight the NCR. When you get to the building with the leader, Jessup, during Fallout: New Vegas, you'll need to exit and use VATS.

Take the note from the leader's corpse, which will unlock a new quest: Chairman Job Offer. Regardless of your decision, the quest "They Went That Way" is now complete. You'll receive the next quest, "Ring-Ding-Ding."

RING-DING-DING! PART ONE

Go to the northern gate of Freeside. Inside, you'll need to hire a member of the Kings gang to protect you. Head southwest to the blue gate that leads to Freeside. Then head to the gate with the glowing "Welcome to the Strip" sign. Then talk to the security robot. He'll tell you you can get in if you have 2,000 caps, a passport, or a science level of 80. If the conditions are met, go inside and read "The Casino Always Wins." If none of the conditions are met, head to the School of Kings building, which is next to the gate to Freeside. Inside, turn left and talk to Pacer. Bribe him or persuade him to let you in to see the King, who's sitting in front of the stage.

G.I. BLUES

You need to exit through the northeast gate of Freeside. Find Orris and hire him to protect you. The Fallout: New Vegas walkthrough continues. Then, head to the south gate together, observe his unusual behavior. Go to the King, tell him about Orris. Go to Orris again, hire him again, and go to the south gate again. Orris will ask about the King. After that, you need to kill him and four enemies. Report all this to the King.

Then head northeast to the Old Mormon Fort. Ask the wounded what happened to him. Enter the tent on the right and talk to Wayne and Roy. Exit the Fort and head to the King. Tell him about the wounded at the Fort. Head to the marker northwest, to the missionary camp. Ask questions about the NCR. You'll be asked questions too. Here are the answers: Tandi, Shady Sands, Two-Headed Bear.

The missionary will then give you the password to the NCR food warehouse. Head northwest along the broken road to the red door. It's guarded by two NCR soldiers. To get inside, say the password: "hope." Talk to Elizabeth at the counter. Then go to the King.

As you continue through Fallout: New Vegas, head north. You'll find Pacer at the old bus stop. He needs help. Eliminate the NCR, talk to Pacer, and return to the King. If you don't see him there, look for him on the third floor of the school. When you talk, the King will say you've earned a commendation. It's a good idea to ask for help getting into the Strip.

RING-DING-DING! PART TWO

The King will direct you to Mick and Ralph's. It's located near the eastern gate of Freeside, which leads to Outer Vegas. Go inside and speak with Ralph. Tell him you're sent by the King and receive your passport. Then head to the northern gate to the Strip. Show your passport to the robot and head inside. The robot will approach you and tell you to go to Mr. House.

THE CASINO ALWAYS WINS, PART ONE

Head east. Before entering Lucky 38, you'll notice Victor, the robot. Speak with him and then go inside. Go to the elevator and tell the robot you want to go up to the penthouse. As you continue through Fallout: New Vegas, go down the stairs and turn left. You'll see a large monitor with House's image. He'll tell you that Benny shot you. He's in the Tops casino on the 13th floor. You need to retrieve the platinum chip from him. A reward of 1,000 caps awaits you. Upon exiting, speak with Victor. He'll tell you you have access to the casino, the Lucky 38 cocktail bar, and the Presidential Suite.

RING-DING-DING! PART THREE

Proceed to the casino through the gate to the southwest. Surrender your weapons and turn right. By the stairs, you'll see Benny at the gaming tables. He'll say he wants to speak privately in the presidential suite. Take the keys and take the elevator. Search the room and collect everything. Proceed to the elevator. Benny will say it's a trap. Guards will appear. Take the elevator down and exit through the main entrance to the Casino. Then head west to the Theater of Aces. Find the elevator and go up to the 13th floor. Find the room with the Yes Man robot. In the conversation, you'll learn that Benny escaped using a secret elevator.

Fallout: New Vegas Walkthrough – You're faced with a choice of sides. This article covers quests for Caesar and Mr. House. However, you can also work for other factions. It's important to choose and decide in advance, as completing tasks for one side means failing tasks for the other. Furthermore, this article doesn't cover every possible quest. There are other options, too. After all, quests aren't always completed in a standard fashion. That's the beauty of the game.

So, talk to Yes Man about ways to take over New Vegas. Then you need to search Benny's room for clues as to where he's gone.

BECOME BEFORE CAESAR

Immediately upon exiting the casino, you'll see an old acquaintance—Vulpes Inculta. He'll tell you that Caesar wishes to meet with you. Use the Pip-Boy to reach Novac, then head southeast to Cottonwood Cove. Approach the dock and speak with Cursor Lucullus. Climb into the boat. In the camp, head up the hill to Fort Front Drawbridge. Then, head west to Caesar's tent. Enter. After the conversation, you'll receive a platinum chip and head to the bunker to destroy its contents.
