Unique Weapons (Melle, Unarmed)

Vampire's Edge - An improved Chinese sword with blood on it.

Location: Blood Ties quest. In Vance's room, Hard Castle.


Jingwei's Shocksword
- A sword that deals additional electrical damage.

Location: In the armory after Operation Anchorage, next to the Gauss Rifle.

Occam's Razor (000CB602) - "Of all the choices, choose the simplest." A knife with increased damage.

Location: Fort Bannister. Dropped from Commander Jabsco's corpse.

Stabhappy - A knife with x4 critical hits and increased damage to limbs. Sometimes spawns on raiders.

Location: The Raid Shack, east of Bethesda Ruins. Follow the main road; the spot will be on the right. The knife is on one of the raiders inside.

The Break - A unique pool cue. Does no damage.

Location: In Paradise Falls, on a pool table next to Eulogy's Pad.

Ant's Sting (000C553E) - A poisonous knife. If you strike it repeatedly, the poison builds up, causing very high damage.

Location: Antagonizer's Lair, given by the Antagonizer as a reward for bringing the Mechanist armor.

Board of Education (000C310F) - Super Mutant training tool. Passed down from instructor to instructor.

Location: Inside the Super Mutant encampment, exactly one square south of the Oasis. Under the bed with the skeleton.

The Tenderizer - A reinforced sledgehammer. It was supposed to pierce armor with every hit, but they forgot to add this effect. You can add it yourself in the editor.

Location: Behind the broken door in Ancorage Memorial. A reinforced sledgehammer. To open the door, you need either 95 repair skill or 50 lockpicking/science skill to open the safe with spare parts on the upper floors of the memorial.

The Mauler - More damage and less AP than the standard autoaxe. Breaks very quickly.

Location: Obtained for 80 steel ingots.


Man Opener - Improved steel saw with increased damage.

Location: On the bed in the far large room of the Supply Plant in The Pitt Steelyard.

Fawkes' Super Sledge - An upgraded super sledge.

Location: When you first meet Fawkes in Vault 87 during the main quest to find the GECK, you can offer to trade with him. He'll also occasionally drop his super sledge to pick up another super sledge.

Butch's Toothpick (00078440) - Butch's upgraded folding knife.

Location: If you let Butch live, he'll give you this knife upon your return. You can't remove the knife from his corpse; it appears as a regular folding knife. Alternatively, you can engage Butch in a bar fight (after he leaves the safehouse), knock the weapon out of his hands, and run away. After 72 hours, Butch will become friendly again.

Jack the Ripper (000C6E5B) - A brutally brutal modified Ripper. Increased critical hit chance, given that the weapon hits 30 times per second, allows for a critical hit on every hit. This Ripper also has 50% increased limb damage. It's the best melee weapon in the game if you have crit perks like the Ninja. Also, it ignores armor. Fuck yeah!

Location: On a dead Enclave officer in Deathclaw Sancuary.

Highwayman's Friend (00078442) - Improved rebar. Use for collection purposes only; useless in combat.

Location: In Dominic and Machete's house, in the far left room, on a shelf. The house is located in Canterbury Commons.

Trench Knife - Used in Operation Anchorage. It differs from a regular knife only in appearance.

Location: In the armory, after completing the simulation. Near other unique weapons, like the Gauss Rifle.




Unarmed. Brass Knuckles and Energy Fists

Fisto! Power Fist (000CB601) - An upgraded version of the Power Fist. Increased damage and attack speed.

Location: MDPL-13 Power Station north of Minefield. Found on a desk in the upper office.

The Shocker - Slightly weaker than Fisto!

Location: South of the Mason District. Follow the tunnel until you find a door. Then go down two stairs. Behind you will be a double steel door leading into a tunnel. Follow the tunnel until you see a metal grate. There will be a door on the left (beware of a shotgun trap). In the room behind the door is a barrel containing a weapon and a recording about it.

Plunkett's Valid Points (000CAFA9) - A unique spiked knuckle duster wielded by Junder Plunkett in Arlington House. There's also a lucky bubblehead in the house. Damage: 13, Weight: 1, Value: 25.

Location: Arlington House, Arlington Cemetary North.

Steel Knuckles - A unique knuckle duster. Available in The Pitt.

Location: Awarded for 30 ingots.
