Bicycle Factory, Nuka-Cola Factory (quests) | Fallout 3

Fallout 3 (Walkthrough) with DLC's -> Bicycle Factory, Nuka-Cola Factory (quests)

Red Racer Bicycle Factory

The factory is full of wild zombies (in the production area) and mutants (in the office area upstairs). If your computer hacking level is high enough, you can hack the computer in the office area and signal it to disable all chips. This will cause the chips of everyone in the building (except two) to explode, blowing their heads off. In the back of the office space, you can meet a mad scientist nicknamed "The Surgeon," armed with a grenade launcher.

The Surgeon's notes also reveal that she implanted chips in the heads of all the zombies and mutants in the building; that's why disabling them caused the explosions. The Surgeon's body contains a key that can be used to open two nearby safes, as well as Stefan's cage; a grenade launcher, and the Surgeon's Coat.

This is also the place where Gawley "Goalie" Ledoux (Ledoux Hockey Mask DR5, Effects +25 AP) and two other members of his gang meet after finding the formula for pure Nuka-Cola in the Nuka-Cola Factory. Ledoux offers 250 BC for the formula, but you can talk him into 400. After that, you can take out all three (Ledoux is armed with a scoped .44 Magnum, his comrades - with an assault rifle and a Chinese machine gun, all three are wearing a variant of the raider armor with increased characteristics Cold and Light Weapons +5). Karma for killing is not removed J.

Find the Formula. Secondary Task

The mission begins at the Nuka-Cola Plant, southeast of the Red Racer Factory. Climbing the stairs, the hero enters the office space, where he finds the body of Winger "Striker" Mercier, killed by cockroaches and Core Troopers (the toughest blue-shelled swamp lurker). There are two ways into this room. The first is straight ahead, through the door in the factory's reception area (Lockpick skill 100). Here, you must proceed sequentially through a series of workshops, first straight ahead, then left, ascending and descending catwalks.

The second path is to the left of the entrance, to the safe, and then through the workshops, the technical room, and the half-flooded area where the Cola ingredients are mixed. The enemy is Protectrons, the Nuclear Engineers. Upon examining the body, a note is found, and upon reading it on the PB 3000 screen, the mission begins. The note instructs you to find the secret recipe for Clear Nuka-Cola in the plant's R&D department and bring it to Mercier's partner, Goley "Goalie" Ledoux, waiting at the gates of the Red Racer factory.

Here, in the locked armory, lie several skeletons. A funny note is taken from one of the bodies. From it, it becomes clear that the author was "accidentally" locked in this room by a security robot. Then another office worker was "housed" with him because he didn't lift the toilet lid in the restroom.

The formula is in a locked wall safe in the plant's R&D department (there are no signs). This department is located immediately to the left of the plant entrance. There are three zones: Storage and Preparation of Mixtures, the office area, and the production floor (follow the arrows to the shipping zone). The password to the computer in the shipping zone is NC-C1864.

A key is required to open the safe. The safe is located in the production floor, a large room south of the Storage and Preparation of Mixtures zone; You can either enter through the door directly into the reception area (100% lockpicking skill), or take a long and dangerous detour to the left through rooms flooded with radioactive water and full of Nuclear Troopers. To obtain the key, you need to find a robot named Foreman Milo in the basement of the production facility.

You can upload the coordinates for Paradise Falls and Old Olney to PB 3000. Three bottles of Quantum Cola can be obtained from the conveyor in the adjacent facility. Then return to the Red Racer factory and deal with the Sudden Death Overtime gang. The disc with the formula remains with the hero, much to his joy.
