Metro 2033: Walkthrough → Paveletskaya
After Pavel's death, I was alone again... And I had to somehow reach the Black Station—Ulman was waiting for me there.
After passing through the pipe, we'll encounter people fortifying their positions and preparing for a monster attack.
We can't go any further, as the passage is sealed while the station is being evacuated. So we'll have to help the soldiers fight back. Let's replenish our ammunition and get ready; the creatures won't keep us waiting long and will appear soon. It will be hot, and we won't be able to hold the line. The mutants will break through the sealed door.
We'll approach the wounded captain, and he'll give us a tape recording of the warning, of the danger. The police must know that danger is approaching them.
We take the tape and head to the station. When we get there, we'll see some new pink mutants emerging from underground, and there will be a lot of them. We'll shoot a bit and then proceed through a small room with a barricade of sandbags. There's a barely visible passage there.
We'll walk a little further and find ourselves on the platform. We'll go down to the basement and hear a child crying. And we'll see that it's a Child.
