Metro 2033: Walkthrough → Frontline
Man remained man even after the end of the world. He was still ready to tear his fellow man's throats out over abstract ideas... Even the war I was now heading to was an echo of some ancient war between the Reds and the fascists. Man doesn't change...
On the way to the frontline, we can listen to what those traveling to war are saying. Before reaching the end of the line, we jump off and continue on foot.
The situation here is similar to when we rescued Bourbon. We can sneak closer to the front lines without attracting the Reds' attention, or we can simply kill all the Reds first and then head towards the Nazis, killing everyone in our path.
The truth is, it's more complicated than with Bourbon, because there will be more enemies, and they'll be better protected. But we've always had our work cut out for us.
Once we cross the bridge to the German side and kill everyone there, we'll head deeper into the tunnel. There, in the Nazi rear, we'll kill a few more enemies, and soon, after opening another door, we'll get hit in the face with a rifle butt and lose consciousness. Next stage: Battle on the Railcars .
