Kuznetsky Bridge

Metro 2033: Walkthrough  → Kuznetsky Bridge

Kuznetsky Bridge was an unusual station. It was entirely made up of workshops. Most of the weapons used in the metro were assembled here. I was looking for Andrey the Master… But he found me first.

Descending from the temple, we find ourselves in some kind of basement. A stream of steam blocks our path. We turn off the valve and crawl into the ventilation shaft. Coming out the other side, we find ourselves back in the tunnel. We walk a little to the left, and a spotlight beam blinds us. It's the station security. We've made it. We go through the gates, which they kindly open for us. And soon we'll find ourselves at the station.

Here, people in Soviet uniforms—Reds—will immediately try to arrest us. But we and another prisoner won't give in and will go on the run. We run after the second prisoner, trying to keep up. They'll fire at us with weapons so much that we'll take cover when it gets hot.

When we're surrounded and the second fugitive is shot, we'll run left down the stairs. Now we'll escape alone along narrow bridges, and soon we'll find ourselves in a room belonging to someone who will hide us from pursuit.

Coming to, we'll realize that our savior is Andrei Master, a friend of Khan's. He'll help us escape this station and warn us that the path to Polis lies across the front line between the Reds and the Fascists. Neither side can be considered friends. But there's no other way.

So, we put on a cloak for camouflage and head to the platform, where a trolley carrying volunteers who have joined the Reds departs. We won't be joining either side, and will travel as stowaways, hidden in the trolley's luggage compartment.

Before heading out, we can buy ourselves a weapon, a suit, or both. Whatever we have ammo for. Once we've completed everything, we hide and wait a bit, then head to the Front Line.
