Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant

Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant

The final battle, as it turns out, is laughably simple and straightforward. Its difficulty is one or two percent of the final battle in "Shadow of Chernobyl." We listen to Lebedev's final revelations, and are given an electromagnetic rifle (looking just like a Gauss rifle) and a huge chest of drawers called the FN2000 with ammo.

Okay, so the electromagnetic rifle is clear. The shooter doesn't need to be killed, but rather stripped of his shielding psi-helmet. But why did they hand me this huge idiot with an underbarrel grenade launcher and a ballistic computer? Did the writers and designers really think I'd gotten this far with a Makarov pistol? Although, in reality, even a Makarov pistol wouldn't be of much use here.

We watch a video insert showing a criminal, framed by snaking lightning bolts, rushing headlong toward Unit 4 along a heating main viaduct. Our task is to quickly crouch and fire sixteen precise shots at him. Yes, we have another health bar at our disposal (most likely not Strelok's, but his electric pot on his head), which makes it very easy and convenient to monitor his progress.

The irony of the situation is that these sixteen shots are fired without moving, as Strelok is clearly playing along and is in no particular hurry.

We watch the final video with a heartbreaking scene of Strelok being encrypted. Judging by the in-game dates, he will be encrypted for about a year. An unenviable fate.
