Random Encounters (Part 2)

Fallout Tactics: BoS → Random Encounters (Part 2)

Gas Station
- the gas station is run by an elderly lady, with whom you can trade the "Elixir of Life," which permanently increases Endurance to whoever drinks it. You can also find a Tool Kit on the bookshelf there. You can increase your Endurance almost infinitely by using this trick (essentially a cheat): after trading and drinking the elixir, exit to the World Map and immediately return – the lady will have a new bottle of elixir, which you can trade and drink again, and so on.

Hermit
- lives with tamed wolves. Trades small items.

Komodo Man
is a duel between a man and a lizard. If you don't help the man, the lizard will simply eat you for breakfast. This is a parody of the famous crocodile hunter Stephen Irving, host of a popular show on the Animal Planet channel. As we know, Steve did die, though he was killed not by a lizard, but by a stingray.

L33tists
are two idiots, using idiotic slang, wandering around a basketball court looking for a ball. One of them has gum.

Merchant
- You come across a merchant's tent, guarded by friendly raiders. You can steal four scarce Pancor Jackhammer pump-action shotguns from the raiders, and trade the merchant for a bunch of ammo of various calibers.

The Mir Station is an orbital station. In the Fallout universe, it crashed not into the Pacific Ocean, but somewhat further east. Just like Amelia Earhart.

Morte
is a flying skull from the computer game Planescape Torment. He talks, but communication with him is useless.

Phil delivers Nuka-Cola
on a bicycle. He has 100 bottles. Besides Nuka-Cola, he has 20 Molotov cocktails and a unique drink, Fusion Cola, but only one bottle. Consuming Fusion Cola increases all primary stats for up to 15 days, except for luck and charisma, which are slightly reduced.

Pipboy
lives in the playground. He's short, wearing a tight blue tracksuit, with a goofy grin on his face and a Belgian FN-FAL rifle in his hands. If you have an opening on your team, he'd be happy to join.

Pitch Black
- This location mimics the action from the film of the same name. Shortly after you appear, Riddick will appear, followed by the Deathclaws, who dwell in the darkness. It is strongly recommended not to linger in the dark zone. The ultimate goal is to rescue Riddick and kill all the animals.

Reaver Dance
- dancing river dancers. A parody of the Irish show "River Dance."

Sixth Sense
- a sad Brahmin who constantly says, "I see dead Brahmins... all the time!" You can see them too. A parody of the film of the same name, in which a boy with the ability to see dead people said, "I see dead people... all the time!"

Titanic – DiCaprio's character from the film of the same name, drowned in a puddle. Nearby, you can find a drawing of a half-dressed Rose and the same necklace. The necklace sells for over 3,000 coins.

Trader - guarded by two raiders. The store sells mainly ammunition and chemicals.

Uprising - You stumble upon something reminiscent of the BOS bunker from Fallout 1. The bunker itself is nothing particularly noteworthy, but you can steal 900 rounds of the popular (you know!) 7.62 caliber from the two guards in front of it. You can then repeat the World Map trick (see above) and stock up on ammo to your heart's content.
