Artifacts (Part 1)

Stalker: Call of Pripyat  → Artifacts (Part 1)

A jellyfish is a gravitational artifact with the ability to actively attract and absorb radioactive particles, thereby reducing the body's exposure to radiation. It is widely used in the Zone; outside of it, it is widely, albeit tacitly, used in the treatment of acute radiation sickness.

Effect: Radiation: -2;

A quirk is a bizarrely shaped artifact that appears in areas of increased gravitational activity. It acts as a kind of sponge that absorbs radioactive elements. It effectively protects its wearer from both induced radiation and radioactive particles already in the body.

Effect: Radiation: -3;

The bubble artifact consists of several interconnected hollow organic structures. It emits a gaseous substance capable of neutralizing radioactive particles in the human body; no harmful effects have been identified. Due to its high effectiveness, it is in high demand.

Effect: Radiation: -4;

Much about Mama's Beads remains a mystery. However, it has been reliably established that the radiation generated by the pulsating nubs of the "Mama's Beads" causes blood in open wounds to clot very quickly.

Effect: Wound healing: +2, Radiation: +1;

The Eye —this artifact actually resembles the organ of vision. In case of injury, it accelerates metabolic processes, which promotes rapid healing. Furthermore, experienced stalkers believe that the "Eye" can bring good luck.

Effect: Wound healing: +4, Radiation: +2;

Flame – formed in areas of increased thermal activity. Characterized by intense infrared radiation, which accelerates blood clotting in open wounds. Due to the extreme rarity of this artifact, its value is extremely high.

Effect: Wound healing: +6, Radiation: +3;

The Soul is an organic artifact with unique properties. Through an as-yet-unknown mechanism, it increases the body's overall recovery rate from injuries of any kind, without accelerating the accumulation of toxins. Due to its pleasing appearance, it is of particular interest to collectors.

Effect: Health recovery: +2, Radiation: +2;

The Kolobok is a rather rare artifact that forms in areas of severe chemical pollution. It is highly prized for its ability to "boost" the body so that it recovers from injuries of any severity within minutes. Scientists are spreading information about the artifact's effect on its owner's genetic material; however, this has not yet been confirmed.

Effect: Health restoration: +4, Radiation +2;

Firefly works with fields inaccessible to science, accelerating the regeneration of tissues and organs in living beings and normalizing metabolic processes. It can literally restore a person with severe injuries to their feet before their eyes. Unfortunately, this artifact is extremely rare.

Effect: Health restoration: +6, Radiation +3;

Battery – this artifact is known to contain electrostatic elements, but the exact conditions under which it forms remain unknown to science. It is prized by residents and visitors of the Zone for its invigorating effect on the human body. Prolonged exposure can deplete the body.

Effect: Strength recovery: +2, Radiation +1;

The pacifier was previously considered junk, devoid of any useful properties. However, some time ago, it was discovered that, when constantly in contact with the human body, this artifact has a positive stimulating effect on the nervous system.

Effect: Strength recovery: +4, Radiation +2;

Snowflake - an artifact similar in appearance to the Kolobok; some believe it is the Kolobok itself, caught in a powerful electric field. It is capable of dramatically increasing the wearer's muscle tone.

Effect: Strength recovery: +6, Radiation +3;

The Night Star is a glowing artifact capable of generating a gravitational field around itself, locally reducing the effects of gravity. It is widely used by stalkers to reduce the weight of their backpacks.

Effect: Max weight: +4 kg, Radiation +1;

Gravity is an artifact formed by prolonged gravitational interaction with metal-containing substances. It can maintain a small antigravity field around itself. Many stalkers use it to significantly reduce the weight of their backpacks.

Effect: Max. weight: +8 kg, Radiation +2;

The Goldfish is an artifact that forms in areas where multiple gravitational fields interact. It reduces the weight of the wearer's backpack contents much more effectively than other similar artifacts, making it highly sought after by stalkers.

Effect: Max. weight: +12 kg, Radiation +3;
