In the Capital Wasteland, you've once again picked up a radio signal for help. Heading to the signal's location, you'll have to help two heavily armed soldiers fight their way through a crowd of aggressive super mutant beasts. Descending the elevator, you'll find yourself in a small but well-kept dungeon. You won't be particularly welcome here, but out of politeness, they'll lead you to the leader. Follow the constantly grumbling guy. After a conversation, it turns out you can help them. You'll need to don a suit with neural implants and board an egg-shaped capsule. The main thing is to remember safety, as safety protocols don't work in the simulator, and death there means your death in reality.

So, you've successfully entered. First, you'll be met by a guy who will supply you with a ton of different accessories. One of these gadgets is a Sel's-Boy. Use it before heading off. The main objective is the Chinese artillery platform, which is currently being cleared. Cross to the other side. Pick up a sniper rifle on the right. You can also replenish your health using the red canisters scattered throughout the area. Now head inside the bunker. Pick up a Chinese assault rifle and replenish your ammo near the special contraption. Don't rush out of the shelter; instead, start picking off the enemies on the other side.

By then, the invisibility effect will wear off. Climb the broken bridge lying on the huge pipe; you'll find another stealth device on the boxes to the right. Then move to the other side. Climb up and enter the red doors. Your next objective is to meet Benjamin Montgomery, who will be waiting for you on the other side of the tunnel. You can also ask your partner for ammo, who will be happy to provide it.

The next objective is the three huge artillery cannons that are harassing your allies. Move forward along the cliff, trying to get in and fire first at the enemies. Otherwise, your partner will fire first, and with their firepower, the fight could drag on. Once you've made it into the bunker, the path ahead will be under fire from cover. Don't despair; there should be a tunnel to the right that you can use to bypass the enemy.

The next step will be through the doors leading to the Chinese artillery outpost. Move forward. As the tremors intensify, prepare to encounter the invisible Chinese. They will be safe at a distance, as they will only have melee weapons. Once you reach the top, turn right and begin placing your detonators in the flashing boxes. Once the last weapon is destroyed, you will be transported to the Allied headquarters.

So, you have distinguished yourself in battle. Command will promote you and give you a group of soldiers. There will be two computers in the tent. On one, you can recruit a squad. On the second, you can select your equipment (first, select the weapon type; to receive a receipt, click the topmost item in the list). Once all preparations are complete, you will finally be released from the headquarters. The squad you formed will be waiting for you outside, led by Montgomery. After talking to your contact, you'll be able to issue orders to the entire group. You can also use them to call for a replacement soldier to replace one killed in battle. Send your squad to the enemy radio post, and run to the quartermaster. During the conversation, hand the storekeeper an ammunition requisition. You can also use your reputation to ask him for a special weapon, specifically a Gauss rifle. You can replenish your ammunition in the tent behind the quartermaster. Collect the batteries and rockets scattered nearby, and don't be shy about grenades.


Radio Post

Now it's time to head to your squad. Exit the camp to the right. Order your squad to begin the assault, and keep up with your comrades. After your path turns left, move slowly; invisible soldiers will be perched on crates and rocks. Your next goal is to break through to the doors leading to the post. After clearing the rooms, be careful; stealth soldiers will be hiding everywhere. You'll find yourself in front of large red doors that will lead you to the roof. After killing the last enemy, wait until you're transported to headquarters.


Ice Camps

Once you're at HQ, it's best to swap your weapons for heavy weapons. Once you've created a request on the HQ computer, take it to the Warehouse Manager and ask to exchange your weapons for new ones. Grenade launcher shells can be picked up near the things that dispense ammo for machine guns and rifles. Now, instruct your squad to head to the Ice Camps, and turn left and head to the far left corner. After briefly clearing the camp, head forward until you reach the Chimera tank station. Once inside, your goal is to destroy two huge fuel tanks. One is located near a tank parked in a repair bay. The second is around the corner to the left, guarded by a tank, so you'll have to use the grenade launcher, or at worst, grenades. To plant bombs on them, approach the mounted lever on the left side of the tanks and press E. After completing the next task, your simulator will automatically transport you to headquarters.

The final objective is to disable the protective field and break into the Chinese headquarters

It's time for the final mission. Exit the headquarters to the left, then turn right and, without fearing for your life, head toward the trenches. As you exit the trenches, you'll find yourself in a crossfire. They'll shoot from the front and left. Move left and make your way to a large, snow-covered field. Move along it to the right, to a small tower where you can use the control panel to disable the protective field. When the job is done, cross the field and head to the gate guarded by two enemy turrets. After dealing with them with the grenade launcher, enter the courtyard. Now there's one last, crucial battle left. Your objective will be to kill the enemy general. You don't need to look for him; he'll be chasing you with his sword. The best way to win is with the grenade launcher. The officer is too healthy, so hand-to-hand combat is contraindicated for you. Once the enemy is defeated, the fight ends, and you'll be removed from the simulator.

Now it's time to collect your reward. Exit the room and head to the locked doors. Open them using the computer terminal hanging on the right. In the room that opens, you can take whatever you want. Good luck.
