Fallout 3 (Walkthrough) with DLC's -> Evergreen Mills
The location is located east of Casey Smith's Garage in the lower southwest quadrant of the Capital Wasteland and is populated by Raiders. Surprisingly, the latter managed to capture the Behemoth.
Evergreen Mills has a foundry, which houses a bazaar. Here you can get a Barter +10 figurine, which is behind a workbench next to Smiling Jack at the top of the bazaar, and the book "Nikola Tesla and You" in a crate. Jack also offers a "J" "Terrifying Shotgun." In the foundry, next to a dead body and a broken terminal, lies the book "Duck and Cover!" To reach it, climb the steps and drop down.
To free the slaves, you must obtain the slave cage key in Evergreen Mills from the body of a Raider or from the guardhouse. To keep all the slaves alive, you must collect all the mines on the approaches to the location. A glitch can sometimes cause slaves to disappear (either when loading a saved game in the location or by leaving the location and returning. In this case, karma for freeing slaves will not be awarded!). South of Evergreen Mills is a hut with one Raider, containing a grenade launcher, several first aid kits, and a copy of "US Army: 30 Techniques for Using a Hand Flamethrower."
The easiest way to deal with the Behemoth is to shoot it from the nearby generator and leave the rest to the Raiders. You can also climb to a high point around the camp and pelt the Behemoth with rockets or nukes. It is not recommended to test your courage by engaging the Behemoth directly; This is especially dangerous for Dogmeat, who takes every battle personally and strives to come face to face with the enemy.
If you've cleared out all the Raiders in the area beforehand, the most effective and, at the same time, most economical way to use ammo is to aim at the Behemoth through the front gate's chain-link fence. Until the generator is blown up, the Behemoth won't be able to escape its confinement. If you're armed with the Fat Man, you can pelt the Behemoth with spread fire over the fence (the main thing is not to damage the generator!). This location isn't related to any of the quests.
