Metro 2033: Walkthrough → The Book Depository
I was alone with horror again. And I had to look it straight in the eye, literally.
Once inside the depository, we'd immediately see a massive monster devouring human remains—the Librarian. How to deal with him was clear: no sudden movements, only moving when he couldn't see us.
Killing him is very difficult, so if you have any trouble, it's best to run.
When we reach the second floor, we'll crawl through a hole in the wall, and as we near the exit, another librarian will knock us down. Fortunately, the demon will notice him, and we'll witness a battle between two powerful creatures. It's quite a sight.
We'll quietly climb into the elevator and descend to the basement, crushing another librarian with the elevator car. We'll encounter a couple more creatures in the basement, but these will be easier to deal with than the ones upstairs. We'll kill them and, after going through the door, we'll find ourselves in the Archives.
