Stalker: Clear Sky → Red forest
We first see Strelok fleeing toward the tunnel. Apparently, he already knows he's being pursued and is determined to stop it by any means necessary. The means, incidentally, are simple: blowing up the tunnel leading to the Radar and setting up a hired ambush of unsuspecting stalkers, believing they're protecting Strelok from a hired killer.
The ambush has to be destroyed because they refuse to negotiate. After this, it turns out that there's no way through the Burner, and the bypass route through Limansk is blocked by bandits controlling the drawbridge on the other side of the river. Apparently, the bandits have no intention of lowering it anytime soon.
The only way to do anything is to find the Forester. And to do that, they need to go through the Red Forest.
This forest is an extremely inhospitable place... We help one group fight off mutants, lead another to the artifact field where a pseudo-giant is peacefully grazing, find a tank with a teleport bubble, fight off boars and snorks, and climb into the teleporter.
A resourceful "bubble" practically delivers us into the arms of the Forester. A leisurely conversation with him reveals that on the other bank, not far from Limansk, a group of mercenaries has gotten into some strange trouble. If we help them, we can count on reciprocal help with the bridge.
Now we need to visit the Military Warehouses , as there's a chance we can establish some kind of contact with the group there.
