Description of the weapon
The PMm is the most common pistol in the Zone, a legacy of the Soviet era. Fairly reliable and inexpensive, it has a low magazine capacity, lacks power, and suffers from poor accuracy. It's the primary weapon of the novice stalker. It's also an excellent tool for scaring away crows. It uses 9x18 and 9x18+P+ ammunition.
The PB-1s is a pistol with an integrated silencer, once used by Soviet special forces. It's outdated, but still quite effective in skilled hands. It fires 9x18 and 9x18+P+ ammunition.
The Fora-12 is a Ukrainian-made police pistol. Compared to the PMm, it offers superior accuracy, ergonomics, and a larger magazine capacity, but is less reliable. It fires 9x18 and 9x18+P+ ammunition.
The HPSS-1m is reliable, powerful, and boasts excellent accuracy. The Browning is deservedly considered one of the best pistols of the 20th century. Its magazine capacity is 13 rounds. It fires 9x19 and 9x19 RVR ammunition.
The Marta is used by the US military and police, as well as many paramilitary and law enforcement agencies worldwide. It is also popular with criminals due to its powerful cartridge and large magazine capacity. It is chambered for 9x19 and 9x19 RVR ammunition.
The Volker-P9m is an excellent German-made pistol, distinguished by its high reliability, large magazine capacity, and good accuracy, especially in this version. It fires 9x19 and 9x19 RVR ammunition.
The Kora-919 is a classic automatic pistol that has served with distinction in all armed conflicts of the 20th century and confidently entered the new century. The SIP-t M200 is a model developed back in 1975, but remains popular worldwide. The magazine capacity is limited, but the mechanism is as reliable as a Swiss watch; another advantage is the use of a powerful cartridge. It is chambered for .45 ACP and .45 ACP Hydro ammunition.
UDP Compact - High quality and reliability are the main distinguishing features of this weapon. It is especially popular among Zone veterans. It is chambered for .45 ACP and .45 ACP Hydro ammunition.
The Black Hawk is a true "pocket gun"—large, heavy, and extremely lethal. Due to its price and size, it hasn't found widespread use in the Zone. It fires .45 ACP and .45 ACP Hydro ammunition.
