Combat Magic


1 level

Shield - Shields a selected friendly unit, reducing the amount of damage received from hand-to-hand attacks by 15%. Spell is active for number of rounds equal to hero Spell Power.

Stone Skin - Increases the selected friendly unit's defense strength by 3. Spell is active for number of rounds equal to hero Spell Power.

Spell Points: 5 mana


2 level

Death Ripple - Sends a wave of death across the battlefield which which damages all units exept undead and War Machines for (Spell Power x5 + 10) hit points.

Spell Points: 10 mana

Quicksand - Randomly places four small patches of quicksand on the battlefield which are only visible to the caster and creatures native to the terrain. Walking in to the quicksand ends a non-flying unit's novement for the turn and makes quicksand visible to all. Quicksand duration is unlimited.

Spell Points: 8 mana


3 level

Animate Dead - re-animates any destroyed undead in the selected friendly group by restoring (Spell Power x 50 + 30) hit points to the target. 

Spell Points: 15 mana

Earthquake - Randomly damages two sections of castle wall, gate or tower in combat.

Spell Points: 20 mana

Force Field - Places a 2-hex Force Field on a battlefield at a point specified by the caster for 2 rounds. Movement through this hexes is blocked. 

Spell Points: 12 mana

Protection from Earth - Protects the selected friendly unit, reducing damage received from Earth spell by 50%. Spell is active for number of rounds equal to hero Spell Power.

Spell Points: 12 mana


4 level

Meteor Shower - Causes a meteor shower to rain down on the selected target and any units adjacent to target location. Each unit takes (Spell Power x 25 + 25) damage.

Spell Points: 16 mana

Sorrow - Mind spell. Reduces the morale of selected enemy unit by 1. Spell is active for number of rounds equal to hero Spell Power.

Spell Points: 16 mana


Adventure Map Spells (Control Magic)


1 level

View Earth - Reveals the location of al resources to the caster. After casting, the information can be accessed through View World window until the end of the turn. 

Spell Points: 2 mana


4 level

Town Portal - teleport your hero to the neares friendly town. Requires 300 movement points. The town must be unoccuppied. 

Spell Points: 16 mana
