Metro 2033: Walkthrough → Polis
It's hard to describe what I felt at that moment. I was exhausted, but I couldn't help but smile. I'd done it! I'd delivered Hunter's message to Polis! And now the fate of my station was in hands far greater than my own. I'd fulfilled my mission.
We'd be met by very strong security. And soon, Polis Station would open to us. An impressive sight. This station was unlike any other.
It feels as if the explosion never happened. After a quick inspection at the Ulman post, we'll go find Melnik, and in the meantime, we can buy ourselves some new ammunition. When Melnik arrives, he'll convene an emergency meeting of the Council members in the Assembly Hall.
The Council's decision was a real shock. They didn't take the threat to humanity seriously and decided not to help the residents of VDNKh station. However, there's no need to despair. After the meeting, Melnik will offer us a solution that could save our station.
Hunters have discovered surviving missile bases in the Moscow region. With their help, we can strike at the Blacks' lair, which is located not far from VDNKh station—our home station.
The missiles can only be launched from the command post, which is located somewhere in D-6. But we don't know where exactly. However, we know where to find information about it. Directly above Polis is a giant library, containing a secret military archive where we can find information about the location of the command post.
This means we still have hope of saving the station. Let's hit the road - Alley .
