Fallout 1 -> Melle weapons
A combat knife is a military-style knife designed for combat with bladed weapons. A serrated blade is more likely to tear than cut, making wounds much more severe. Combat knives were made of carbon alloys, which increased their strength, durability, and reduced weight. They are typically about 15-25 cm long.
A spear is a two-meter-long stick with a sharp piece of metal or stone tied to one end. A primitive and ineffective weapon.
Throwing knife - A knife specifically designed for throwing. It has a slit in the middle of the blade to inflict greater pain when removed from the body.
A baton is a police baton used to rehabilitate criminals. It consists of a rubber-coated metal rod with a handle attached at a right angle to it, reducing vibration from impact.
Crowbar is a rather impressive piece of metal, designed specifically for working with heavy, strong objects... or smashing heads. A pry bar is bent at the end so it can be used as a lever. Typically about 35 cm long.
A sledgehammer is a wooden handle with a heavy iron bar attached to it, the weight of which is sufficient to break several bones and damage vital organs. A two-handed weapon.
Super Sledgehammer - The base of the sledgehammer has a small mechanized unit that stores kinetic energy and uses it to increase the force of the blow. In practice, it's a formidable weapon, inflicting critical hits. It's a two-handed weapon.
Cattle Goad - Specially designed to be powerful enough to render a cow unconscious – imagine what this weapon could do to a human. The goad resembles a large fork with two prongs, between which, when a button on the handle is pressed, an electrical discharge is generated. The energy is released even if the blow misses the target. It is charged by 20 small energy batteries.
The Ripper is like a small chainsaw, about the size of a knife, but without the noisy motor. Before the War, Rippers were used by street gangs and thieves, and they're still in use today. Energy is expended even if the Ripper's wielder misses their target. It's charged by 30 small energy cell charges.
