Head to the northern gate of Freeside. Inside, recruit a member of the Kings gang for protection and proceed southwest to the blue gate leading to Freeside. Continue to the gate with the glowing "Welcome to the Strip" sign. Talk to the security robot here. He'll tell you that you can get in if you have 2,000 caps, a passport, or a science level of 80. If you meet the necessary requirements, go inside and read "The casino always wins." If you don't have any of the necessary requirements, go to the School of Kings building, located next to the gate to Freeside. Inside, turn left and speak to Pacer. Either talk to him or bribe him to let you in to see the King, who's sitting in front of the stage.
GI Blues
Exit through the northeast gate of Freeside. Find Orris and recruit him as a guard. Now, go with him to the south gate and observe his strange behavior. Go to the King and tell him about Orris. Now go to Orris again, recruit him again, and go to the south gate again. Orris will ask you about the King, then kill him and four other enemies. Report everything that happened to the King.
Next, head northeast to the Old Mormon Fort. Ask the wounded about what happened to them. Enter the tent on the right and talk to Roy and Wayne. Exit the Fort and go to the King. Tell him about the wounded at the Fort. Head northwest to the marker, to the missionary camp, and ask questions about the NCR there. You'll also be asked questions, the answers to which are: Tandi, Shady Sands, Two-Headed Bear. After answering, the missionary will give you the password to the NCR food depot. Head northwest along the broken highway to a red door guarded by two NCR soldiers. To enter the ruined store, tell them the password: "hope." Here, talk to Elizabeth at the counter, then go to the King.
Head north and you'll find Pacer at the old bus stop. He needs your help. Eliminate the NCR soldiers, talk to Pacer, and return to the King. If you can't find him in his original location, look in the room on the third floor of the school. He'll mention that you've earned one favor for your actions. I think it would be more logical to ask him to help you enter the Strip.
The King will send you to Mick and Ralph's. The store is located near the east gate of Freeside, which leads to Outer Vegas. Go inside, talk to Ralph, tell him the King sent you, and get your passport. Now head to the north gate of the Strip, show the robot your passport, and finally, go inside. A robot will approach you and inform you that Mr. House wants to see you.
Head east. You'll see Victor the robot in front of the Lucky 38 entrance. Talk to him and then head inside. Go to the elevator and tell Victor you want to go up to the penthouse. Go down the stairs, turn left, and you'll see a huge monitor with Mr. House's image. He'll tell you that the guy who shot you, Benny, is in the Tops Casino on the 13th floor. Your task is to retrieve his platinum chip, which will reward you with 1,000 caps. As you exit, Victor will speak to you and tell you you have access to the casino, the Presidential Suite, and the Lucky 38 Cocktail Lounge.
Enter the casino through the gate in the southwest. Hand over your weapons and turn right. You'll see Benny at the gaming tables by the stairs. He'll say he wants to talk privately in the Presidential Suite. Take the keys and take the elevator up behind you. Search the room and loot everything you find. Head back to the elevator. Benny will tell you it's a trap. Guards will immediately appear, clearly with ill intentions. Take the elevator down and exit through the main entrance to the Casino. Now head west to the Theater of Aces. Find the elevator and go up to the 13th floor. Here, look for a room with a Yes Man robot. Talk to him and learn that Benny escaped using a secret elevator.
Next, you'll have a choice of which side to take. This article will cover quests for Mr. House and Caesar. Working for other factions is also possible. Choose and decide in advance, as completing tasks for one side will mean failing tasks for the other. Please note that this article does not describe every possible quest.
