Aquilo is a planet dependent on the import of basic materials and manufactured goods. After all, aside from ice, oil, ammonia, and lithium, Aquilo has practically nothing. In addition, one might mention:
1. Low temperatures – production halts without heating.
2. Solar energy (1%) – solar panels generate virtually no power.
3. Limited construction space – expansion is only possible by utilizing the ice surface, which is subsequently covered with concrete.
4. Long-haul flight – the journey from Gleba or Fulgora to Aquilo takes twice as long as the trip from those same planets to Novius. You will need an advanced spaceship and rocket launchers (sourced from Gleba) to deal with large asteroids.
5. Import dependency – production relies on materials and items previously brought in from other planets. This primarily involves Fulgora; it is best to establish production there before flying to Aquilo.
What should be imported to Aquilla?
First of all, for your initial landing, I recommend bringing the following items onto the ship:
1. A Heating Tower from Gleba or a Nuclear Reactor.
2. A couple of boilers.
3. Heating pipes.
4. Standard pipes and underground pipes.
5. Power poles.
6. Liquid storage tanks
7. Liquid pumps
8. Oil pumps
9. Concrete 1000
10. Oil and chemical plants
11. Conveyors with manipulators of various lengths
12. Power batteries
13. Crates, drones, robo-ports
14. Furnaces, assembly plants, etc.
This way, by producing solid fuel from ammonia and water, you can establish an infinite energy source for the heating tower, which will supply heat to the factory via pipes. Setting up rocket fuel production is also quite simple, as the ingredients are similar. Subsequently, you will need to export a large volume of goods from Fulgora to Aquilo to ensure the factory operates reliably; therefore, it is crucial to have a well-prepared base on Fulgora beforehand, complete with a buffer of basic materials and items.
Alternatively, you can transport everything from Nauvis or Vulcanus, but it will take longer due to the additional flight.
