If you click on the raven, Wendy will say, "Take the beak from out my heart." This is an excerpt from Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven."
Judging by Wendy's comments about the musical instruments available in the game, she is interested in music. If Wendy examines Maxwell, she will say, "I feel a strange kinship with him." It can be assumed that she is the niece of William Carter (Maxwell). In ghost form, the flower on her head turns yellow.
Previously, Abigail would come to Wendy at night and could even harm her. This may be a reference to the movie "Casper": the girls have the same name (Wendy), both have contact with a ghost, and both have blonde hair.

Abigail will not leave her sister's side until she dies in battle. She attacks creatures Wendy chooses to fight, or monsters that attack her. The ghost has an area-of-effect attack, meaning it can damage multiple mobs at once. Abigail, keeping her distance, follows her sister relentlessly. Upon death, she leaves behind a closed flower.
- Abigail can be healed, although she tries to fly away.
- She cannot damage Wendy or her allies (Chester, tamed pigs, etc.).
Interesting facts
- Wendy only loses 75% sanity from monsters and the dark.
- Wendy's voice is an alto flute.
- If you click on the pond, Wendy will say, "Ophelia, are you down here?", which is an obvious reference to William Shakespeare's tragedy "Hamlet."
- If you click on the rabbit hole, Wendy will say, "I'm too big to fall in there," which is a reference to "Alice in Wonderland" by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll).
- If you click on the pig's head, Wendy will say, "Kill the pig! Spill his blood!" This is a reference to William Golding's "Lord of the Flies," where boy hunters killed pigs on a desert island and left their severed heads on sticks as an offering to the beast. The full line is: "Kill the pig! Cut his throat! Spill his blood!"
- If you don't have a light source at night, you can stand very close to Abigail and not die from Charlie.
- Most likely only loses 75% of her sanity due to not being afraid of death.
- Wendy's ghost is similar to Abigail, with two differences: Wendy has a yellow flower on her head, and it's located on the right.
