Biomes (Magma Lands)
Features: Somewhat similar to the rocky biome from the original DLC game. You can find various boulders, magma piles, branches, and spider/large bird spawns.
Magma piles – Can be dug up with a shovel to obtain rocks, flint, nuggets, and various gems. After digging up, they can serve as a temporary source of light if there was a fire geyser under the rock.
On land, you will also find/encounter:
Doubloons – Can be obtained from the Octopus King or found in the world. Used to craft gold nuggets or play the resource slot machine.
Tropical butterflies: Can be caught with a net and killed to obtain butterfly wings or planted on the ground (they will turn into flowers).
Parrots/Pirate Parrots – Can be caught with a bird trap. When killed, they drop a piece of meat/scarlet feather. The Pirate Parrot sometimes drops gold doubloons and has unique names.
Toucan – Can be caught with a bird trap. Drops a piece of meat or a jet feather when killed.
Treasure – After investigating the message in a bottle, an X on the map is revealed. When dug up with a shovel, it yields 2 pieces of bone fragments and a chest with various items.
Common Jungle Tree – an analogue of a completely normal tree, used for harvesting living logs.
Slot Machine – Located on one of the islands with a beach biome. Can be played for doubloons. 3 carrots – various resources, 3 nuggets – rare resources and items, 3 skulls – spawns three snakes/spiders/mosquitoes/primates or hounds.
