Fallout: New Vegas Walkthrough -> Weapon Stats
Using the Maria pistol as an example
Requirements: Strength: 2. ID: 000e7655
Name Damage Resolution. Crit. (%) Patr. (Mag.) Weight From (away)
- "Maria" 20 0.2 x 2 9mm (13) 1.5 15 (200)
Damage is a metric taken directly from the GECK and reflects the amount of damage a weapon inflicts with a single click of the mouse button/trigger. For most "light" weapons, one click fires one bullet/shell, but shotguns fire multiple pellets, and a Gatling laser emits a beam when fired.
Spread - The minimum spread of a weapon, as specified in the GECK. It reflects the accuracy of a shot from a given weapon. A value of "0" means that under optimal conditions (the player is stationary, crouched, and has no issues with target illumination), the shot will not deviate from the intended trajectory. Any value above "0" indicates possible deviation in degrees.
Crit % - A factor by which a character's base critical hit chance is multiplied. The multiplier applies to each fired projectile (for example, each pellet fired and each bullet in a burst).
Example: If a character has a 5% critical hit chance and the weapon they're using has a 2x critical hit chance, each shot has a 10% chance of being a critical hit. When firing an automatic weapon in VATS mode, if a critical hit occurs, each fired projectile deals critical damage.
Caliber - The type of ammunition used.
Magazine capacity - The capacity of a magazine. The number of shots that can be fired before a reload is required.
Weight - Mass.
AP - The number of action points spent on one shot.
Durability - Durability taken from the GECK. Determines how quickly the weapon wears out. The higher the value, the better.
Requirements - The strength and/or skill required to use the weapon most effectively.
ID - everything is clear here, just numbers :)
