The essence of missions is to complete them as quickly as possible. To receive loyalty points, LP, which in turn are exchanged for goods in the faction store. Loot is worth picking up only in some missions with factional ships. After a certain period, you will also receive a special mission, which levels the standings and can give an implant for 20kk - 80kk.
This method is probably in second-to-last place in terms of earning efficiency after mining on Venture in highsec as alpha. Although it all depends on how many missions you can do in an hour.

Earnings from missions are made up of three parts: loyalty points, payment for completing a mission, and Loot from NPCs. With the selection of Loot, you can do about 3 missions per hour, and often the cost of the modules does not exceed 5kk in total. Only one in every 15-20 missions contains loot worth 50kk. Without picking up trash, you can increase your earnings several times.
And do for example 10 missions or 20 in an hour.
Before the CCP cut loyalty points from 1500 ISK per LP to 500 as it is now. With 3 lvl missions it was possible to reliably make omega in 2 weeks. If you spend a day on 3 agents Sat, then you could have consistently farmed 100kk before.
Use this money to trade and farm the agent further. Stable routine income.
I would probably make an agent myself if there was no way to earn more and faster from the alpha, since it’s very interesting personally how many missions I can do in an hour. As for what factions to play for, start with Sisters of Eve. There, the output of LP occurs through sisters scanning probes, everyone always needs them. And also the scanning frigate Astero is very popular in the game.
