Option 1
This tactic is designed for one person in normal mode. Theoretically, it's also suitable for an expert, but I haven't tested it.
- What we'll need
- Naturally, 500 max health
- Large healing potions (10 of them will be enough, you can take fewer, but it’s better to take more to be on the safe side)
- Soup
- Potions of Regeneration and Iron Skin
- Somewhere around 100-120 wire (preferably with some extra)
- 3 wrenches (different colors, of course) and wire cutters
- 6-8 heart statues
- 2 fires (for symmetry)
- 2 boxes of ammunition
- 4-5 buckets of honey
- Ammo Preservation Potion
- Chlorophyte bullets (about 2-3 thousand)
It's also a good idea to take:
- Light sources (suddenly it gets dark), torches for example
Now the equipment:
- Beetle Armor (max defense)
- Tactical shotgun (the better the forging, the better, mine is unreal)
- Regeneration bandage
- Also take the ankh shield.
- Dragon Staff (from Stardust Fragments)
Load up on the remaining accessories so that everything (including armor) has +4 defense. Base defense (without potions) should be 107, or 103 without an Ankh shield.
It's a good idea to have:
- Phantasm (I have Nasty)
- A thousand cursed arrows to the phantasm
- Optical staff
Option 2
To kill the Moon Lord you will need: a small arena, honey (so that you can stand in it and have the useful effect Honey Regeneration), a fire, a heart lamp.
- Armor: Beetle armor.
- Accessories: Avenger's Emblem, Skystone, Ankh Shield (Paladin's Shield), Regeneration Ring, Cross (Cross is no longer relevant after 1.3.0.6).
- Weapon: Solar Eruption (can be crafted from Solar Fragments that drop after destroying the Solar Tower).
Option 3
Arena, roughly as shown in the picture (design to your taste). Be sure to place the Nurse there;
![]() |
- Armor: Beetle Armor;
- Weapon: Solar Eruption;
- Accessories: Celestial Shell (Celestial Stone), Ankh Shield or Paladin Shield (both are possible), Mechanical Glove (Avenger's Emblem), the rest are optional. Defense/Damage enchantment;
- Additional items: Bonfire, Heart Lamp;
Fight: During the fight, you need to stand on the second floor of the "Arena" and attack the Moon Lord's arms, but not all the way. Leave 1000-2000 HP in both arms and break them at once (this is done so that the True Eyes of Cthulhu don't attack you while you're attacking the other arm). When you have less than half HP left, go down to the first floor and heal from the Nurse (she will also heal when damaged) and then continue the fight. Once you've destroyed both arms, the True Eyes of Cthulhu will appear. Dodge their attacks and lasers. Well, now all that's left is to knock out the last, third Eye, and destroy his heart!
Option 4
- Weapons and armor: Vortex bow and cannon, Beetle armor, steampunk wings, Hermes boots, Vortex dragon staff, 2000 explosive bullets.
- Additional items: 5 super heals, medic's house
Tactics: Summon a dragon and summon a moon lord. Simply kill him with a cannon. If you're taking damage, heal with the medic, but if he doesn't give it, use a heal. In phase 2, it's best to use a teleportation mirror and move him away from your house, otherwise he'll kill the medic and you won't be able to heal, which could end badly!
Mini-Tactics:
You can build any box in the air and place a teleporter in it, then place a nurse on the teleporter. When your HP is low, press the button and she'll teleport to you. You'll heal for money and then continue into battle.
Option 5
You need a small room to house NPCs.
- We put a medic in this room and seal the doors with blocks so she can't get out.
- When HP is LOW, heal yourself and it's a good idea to set up a fire and a lamp with a heart.
- It's impossible to kill a medic, so don't worry.
- You need at least turtle or beetle armor.
Option 6
1) Arena.
Build an arena approximately 400 blocks high using wooden platforms, just a level road. Place at least 8 bonfires on this road.
2) Equipment.
Beetle Armor, Vortex Beater, 150 or 200 HP potion, Celestial Shell, Ice Wings or better, Obsidian Shield, Necromancer Scroll, Winter Speed Boots, 999 Chlorophyll Bullets, and a staff for summoning electric balls.
3) Battle.
Use the staff to summon electric balls twice, approach the car, right-click it, and summon 3 electric balls. Wait until nightfall, summon the Moon Lord, and try to dodge his attacks while firing from the Vortex Beater. This tactic is effective; it takes about 2-3 minutes to kill him, and you only need to use a potion once to restore his health. If you've killed this boss twice, craft Solar Armor. If you've killed him three times, craft bullets from his ingots to make subsequent kills easier.
Option 7
Requirements:
- A spawn from which you can quickly fly out at a high distance from the ground with a nurse and ~30 gold for healing;
- UFO;
- Beetle armor for protection
- Axes:
- scarf worm
- paladin's shield
- ice turtle shell
- Regen's Ring + Philosopher's Stone
- celestial shell
- 6th of your choice and we forge everything for +4 to defense (6th too)
- Mirror or Phone
- Divine Dawn/Solar Eruption
- Staff of the Dragon's Star (help)
- heals 150-200 as a last resort
- Minion buffs and armor penetration (whetstone)
Combat:
After being summoned, board the UFO, fly at maximum speed in one direction, and attack the nearest eye. If necessary, teleport to the medic (mirror/phone), heal without leaving the UFO, and repeat.
Option 8 (expert mode)
1) Items:
- Tiki/Stardust Armor,
- stardust dragon(mythical),
- heals for 200 HP (just in case).
2) Accessories:
- shiny stone,
- mythical amulet,
- Summoner's Emblem,
- papyrus scarab,
- spore sac,
- necromantic scroll.
- We sharpen them all to 4% damage (menacing).
3) Arena:
- The tactic is incredibly easy (in combat) thanks to its special arena.
- It's too complicated to describe how to make our arena, so watch the video:
- Bonfires and heart lamps can be added here.
The Super-Mega-Arena
doesn't necessarily have to be built on the shore (I think you understand why).
It also doesn't have to be built exactly like his, for example, here's mine:
![]() |
You shouldn't make the arena smaller than mine, otherwise your fight with the lord will end very badly.
4) Fight:
Stand on the teleporter (like in the video) and just keep an eye on your health (the dragon will do everything for you), and if worst comes to worst, use your favorite healing potions.
