Tree Guard
The Treant (Tree Guard) is the first boss in the game. Each tree you chop down has a 1.3% chance of spawning a Treant from a nearby tree under default settings. Treants can even spawn from trees you planted. They cannot spawn before a certain day, which depends on the settings you choose. Under default settings, they can only appear starting on the third day.Treants exist in three forms: small, medium, and large. Each form corresponds to the size of the tree from which they spawned. Treants can spawn from any tree when chopping down a withered spruce. Each form has its own amount of health and attack power.
Treants are very slow, so you can outrun them. However, they are also very stubborn and will pursue you even if you run very far. However, if the distance is truly great, they will simply stop, but if you return to where they stopped, the Treant will pursue you again.
An Ent can be appeased by planting several pine cones in its presence, the planting process being accompanied by an approving roar. After this, the Ent will revert to its arboreal state, but will become aggressive again if you begin chopping down trees nearby.
The Ent's size affects the number of trees that must be planted to appease it. An Ent that has entered its arboreal state can be moved by the player. Sometimes, multiple Ents can awaken at once. Typically, two Ents appear either during a single felling of a large number of trees by a Pig Brigade (one after the other, but with a slight delay) or simultaneously during the destruction of a specific tree, if the probabilities coincide.
