Ancient Guardian | Don't Starve

Ancient Guardian

The Ancient Guardian is a boss encountered in the ruins. It is a furry version of a mechanical rook, strongly resembling a rhinoceros. It shares all the characteristics of a rook, attacking with a ram, destroying everything in its path. However, unlike its mechanical counterpart, when the player is nearby, the Guardian does not charge, but instead performs a quick attack with its horn.

Upon death, it drops 8 pieces of meat, a guardian horn, and a large ornate chest. It resides in the very center of the labyrinth, on a small island with many colors of light and walls made of thulecite.

Mob breakdown:

The Ancient Guardian is the boss of the ruins, similar to the mechanical rook. The Guardian is encountered at the end of the labyrinth, in the ruins, in the center of a large, almost square "arena." When approached, it will awaken and attack the target.

Attack method:

Rams like a mechanical boat.

Stats:

Health - 10,000

Damage - 100

Drops: 8x Meat, 1x Guardian Horn, a large decorated chest spawns at the kill site.

IMPORTANT: Don't kill the Guardian near a chasm, as the chest may spawn in the void and become unopenable!

Killing tactics

My tactics:

Prepare: take food, armor, meat bat (or tentacle spikes) > Find the guardian > Place 4 lanterns at the edges of the "arena" (or four fire pits, if in winter) > Hit the guardian 1-2 times per approach, then dodge the ramming attack > And so on until victory!..

Instant kill

Take 48-49 gunpowder, a torch, an ice staff and any weapon (even a spear will do) > Freeze the guardian > quickly put 48-49 gunpowder as close to him as possible > Quickly light the gunpowder and run away > When the gunpowder explodes, the guardian will unfreeze with 400-200 hp > finish him off with any weapon > VICTORY! [If you don't have that much gunpowder, you can use blow darts, but I think they're more expensive to craft]

You can write your tactics in the comments.
