Option 1 (Expert mod)
Armor, weapons:
Spectral armor with hood, pine needle thrower.
Accessories:
Wings, a Mana Flower, and a stack of Mana Potions. You can also add a Celestial Symbol and a Destroyer Emblem for increased damage.
Buffs:
Crystal ball.
Combat:
Don't fly too far off the ground. Dodge lightning and fireballs. When the cultist throws ice balls, you can ignore them, as the healing from the barbs and spectral armor is stronger. When illusions appear, hit the slightly darker one. They're especially visible at night or in the dark.
Option 2
Equipment:
Xenocannon, Ankh Shield, UFO mount, Ichor bullets, chlorophyte armor (any buffs you wish).
Combat:
First, let's place a nurse nearby. Summon a Cultist, fly around the boss on your mount, and shoot. Heal the nurse when she drops below 200 HP. That's it!
Option 3 (Warrior Mage)
Equipment:
Spectral Hooded Armor, Spectral Staff, Influx Sway.
7-8 huge healing potions.
Several stacks of large mana potions.
Accessories: Mana Flower; Cobalt Shield; Philosopher's Stone; Shroud of Stars.
Mount UFO.
Combat:
Fly around the cultist and strike him with your sword. If your HP drops below 250, equip the Spectral Staff. If your HP drops below 100, drink a potion.
Option 4 (Summoner)
Armor, weapons, and accessories:
Tiki Armor or Eldritch Armor, Xeno Staff, Chlorophyte Bolt Launcher with Chlorophyte (999 is enough) or Infinite Arrows, Wings or Hoverboard, Lightning Boots, Papyrus Scarab, Ankh Shield, and Necromancer Scroll. Axes are enchanted for +4 defense or damage (depending on how often you get hit), and the boots are geared for speed.
Buffs:
Potions for defense, regeneration, and speed. Using a spell table is, of course, highly recommended, and a couple of 150-hit point heals are also a good idea.
Combat:
Your main strength is speed. Keep your distance, let the UFO do most of the work, and shoot, keeping the cultist at bay.
Option 5
Everyone's favorite vampire knives kill the cultist calmly and without any tricks, BUT only if one condition is met:
When performing the ritual, DO NOT touch the cultist under any circumstances! The illusory dragon will "heal" you for 100 (or 150 on Expert mode). If you have more or less strong armor, the fight will become "endless," and you can easily finish off the cultist, dodging attacks if you wish.
