First, let me tell you about the devourer of worlds:

The World Eater is a very long worm, composed of many segments. The leading segment is the head, with the other parts following it.

The World Eater attacks by ramming its head toward the player. After this strike, it continues forward under its momentum, turns around, and starts crawling toward the player again. Its turn can be long, causing it to disappear completely from the screen, or short, turning around the player. The World Eater can stop its head and develop a fairly decent speed. When a segment is destroyed, the next part becomes the new head segment, resulting in another shortened World Eater. The new head can have the same speed and direction, or it can fly in a different direction.

In Expert mode, each segment of the boss attacks with vile spitting spews , which can be destroyed by a player attack. There is a chance to inflict the Weakness debuff.
