Duke Rybron (boss)

Terraria Wiki → Duke Rybron (boss)

Option #1

Accessories:

  • Lightweight Sparkling Frost Boots (Mage and Warrior)
  • Ankh Relief Shield (Mage and Warrior)
  • Lightweight Hoverboard (Mage and Warrior)
  • Lightening Celestial Stone (Mage and Warrior)
  • Secret Magic Shackles (Mage)
  • Paladin's Guardian Shield (Warrior)

Armor:

  • Beetle Armor (Warrior)
  • Spectral Hooded Armor (Mage)

Potions:

  • Iron Skin Potion (Mage and Warrior)
  • Soup (Mage and Warrior)
  • Speed Potion (Mage and Warrior)
  • Major Healing Potions (Mage and Warrior)
  • Greater Mana Potions (Mage)

Weapon:

  • Divine Vampire Knives (Warrior)
  • Mythical Pine Needle Thrower (Mage)

So, let's get started! First, we need to build a small path out of blocks like in the picture. TAUGHT FROM Terrariast Kusko

Once you've built the blocks, you can summon the boss. Warriors, dodge and replenish your health with daggers. Mages, use the Pine Launcher: with the Spectral Hood, Fishron will take normal damage and you'll receive regeneration. If you're a mage, you'll have to dodge much more often than warriors.

Well, that's about it. The most important thing is to dodge Fishron's attacks, preferably using the hoverboard rather than his wings, as it's more agile.

Option #2:

If you killed Skeletron Prime using Reyuh's tactic, you can build a path from the ocean to the arena, demolishing the blocks to allow passage. If the path was paved, it's easier. If not, then: - Mushroom Armor - Machine Gun and 3,000 Chlorophyte Bullets (cheaper bullets are possible, but you need to be accurate). - Snowman's Rocket Launcher and 700-1000 Rockets 3. - Hoverboard, Sniper Scope, Skystone, Destroyer Emblem, Ankh Shield. Reforge everything for +4% damage, +4 armor, or +4 movement speed.

Fight. Just run and fly, shooting at Fishron. Choose an area without a dungeon (unless you've already destroyed it). If there is one, it'll be a bit tight if you don't have a charge. I tried twice without an arena, and got a staff on the third. If I have 10 worms, I lose at least one fight.

Option #3:

This tactic is designed for one player. You won't need much. A weapon with homing projectiles/ammo and a gravity potion are recommended. By changing your direction, you'll begin to fall, but your speed will be sufficient to dodge Fishron's attacks. The only minor issues will be the tornadoes. As a result, the boss takes consistent damage, while you don't take damage if you try to dodge and/or are lucky enough to avoid the tornadoes.

Tactics for a marksman

A site for 250 asphalt blocks.

2 fires and lamps each.

Mushroom armor for bullet damage.

Axes—wings, ankh shield, star shroud, and a couple more of your choice. All with +4% crit enhancements.

Machine gun and 1500 chlorophyte bullets.

Potions of your choice. (I used pie and iron skin)

The battle itself - we run, jump, fly, drawing figure eights in the arena around Rybron.

Warrior Tactics

Equipment:

Bug Armor (protective shell), Paladin's Shield, Frost Sparkling Boots and wings/hoverboard/gravity potion, other optional. All axes have +4 defense. The only weapon is the Death Scythe. We buff "Satiety," "Spikes" (optional), "Speed," "Health Regeneration" (from a potion), and other optional. About 5 Huge Restoration Potions. For insurance, you can build a long road out of any materials and set up fires, but I did without them.

Combat:

Cast a fishing rod with a worm into the sea and wait. When the fish start biting, fish out our "fish"—the Count—and fly diagonally (up and away from the ocean). Start firing from the scythe in a line opposite your movement (i.e., where the Count will chase you). Start descending, also diagonally from the sea, only downwards (keep firing). Once you land, take off again, and fly up and left/right again. Continue flying, shooting at the Count with your scythe, occasionally restoring your heals, until the boss is completely destroyed.

The trick is that when Fishron is chasing you, he'll run into your purple scythes and take damage, while you'll take only moderate damage. The key is to avoid the tornado as you fall to the ground.

Tactics for Warrior 2

Equipment:

Beetle armor.

Wings or a hoverboard, a mythical amulet or its components, at least an obsidian shield, lightning boots, and a warrior or avenger emblem.

Iron Skin Potion, Major Healing Potions, and the rest is optional.

Terra sword and vial of ichor.

Site:

Any very long area can be used to place fires and heart-shaped lamps.

Movement:

Away from Rybron and up, down or straight on the hoverboard.

Fight:

We summon Rybron, fly onto the platform, and hit him with the Terra Sword, remembering to heal. The fight took me five minutes.

Option #4

Expert only

Marksman: Armor: Mushroom set for marksman. Weapon: Unreal Clockwork Assault Rifle. Accessories: Devourer's scarf (or something like that). Hoverboard. Marksman emblem. Avenger emblem. Destroyer emblem. Everything gets +4% damage. Ammo: Cursed or Ichor, about 1,500 pieces. Just in case: Cursed lights and Ichor rain.

Clear the world (1,000 blocks) and lay asphalt. Build a second layer of asphalt upwards and towards the sea. You can lay rails and place a minecart with a laser. Tactics: With a minecart: get in the minecart and fire towards the herring. Without: run away with the hoverboard and fire towards the fishbone. Potion: 3 heals of 150 and 600 HP)
